WHY CELEBRATE A BIRTHDAY ON A TRAM?
Function rooms and reserved tables tend to look much the same from one birthday to the next. A party tram gives your guests a venue of their own that actually goes somewhere: everyone shares one carriage, the music is on and the city slips by outside the windows. With the tram booked for your party only, the night stays focused on the guest of honour.
It’s a natural fit for milestone birthdays, and it makes a memorable surprise for a partner, parent or old friend.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY
Pick a start time that suits your guests – the booking form offers slots from morning to midnight, or you can leave it to be agreed. Everyone meets at a stop of your choosing, and once the whole party is aboard, the tram sets off on a route planned with you. Wherever the tracks run, the tram can follow, so why not swing past the neighbourhood the birthday person grew up in?
Bring out the cake whenever you’re ready – your own, or one we arrange along with catering – and add tram decoration or a fireworks show if you fancy. There’s a break for the loo at least once during the ride, and it ends near the venue where the celebration continues. PLANNING TIPS FOR THE ORGANISER
Packages are priced for groups of at least 30; for a smaller get-together, tell us the number of guests and we’ll send an individual quote. Bookings must reach us no later than 5 working days before the party, and booking early gives you more weekend dates to choose from.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does a surprise party on the tram work?
Everyone else boards first, while the birthday person is brought to a stop along the route on some pretext – then the tram pulls in full of friends. We’ll plan the timing with you discreetly.
Can a tram party be given as a present?
Yes. Our offer includes a voucher valid for 6 months, which works well as a joint gift from family or friends – we’ll confirm the details when you order.
Can we have champagne for a toast?
Of course – raise a toast with drinks you bring yourselves, or ask us in advance to have champagne for the guests ready when the tram sets off. What your package allows is confirmed at booking.
Can the tram be decorated?
Yes, tram decoration is one of our extras – in the birthday person’s favourite colours, for example.
Can the party run longer than two hours?
Yes. Two hours is the standard, but there’s no fixed upper limit – just agree the length with us before the day. You’ll find the ride time for each package on the relevant city page.
How do we pay?
By cash or bank transfer – please agree the method with us in advance. What happens if you need to cancel is set out in our Terms and Conditions.
