When You’re Planning a Stag Do for a Mate.
When planning a stag do for your best mate, are you doing everything to come up with an idea that will revolutionise the way those proverbial ‚last moments of freedom‘ have been spent so far? Good thinking! Creativity and an unconventional approach have always been valued. But is every stag do idea that comes to mind actually doable? Probably yes… the problem is the consequences of putting poorly thought-out scenarios into practice. Especially for you, we have collected 5 examples of stag dos that really happened in different parts of Europe and which, because of their nature, were widely covered by the local media.
5 „silliest“ stag do ideas
1. a drunk 23-year-old at a stag do pretended to be a police officer; he wanted to surprise his mate but got the wrong car, which he stopped for a ‚fake‘ check. He now faces a year in prison
2. The groom’s mates told him to find someone in the phone book with the same name and surname as his fiancée, call the number and tell the woman how much he couldn’t wait for their wedding. The groom completed the task, but 2 days later the police knocked on his door, accusing him of harassing the elderly lady he had called
3. Kidnapping a llama from a circus. A llama named Serge was stolen by a group of drunk young Frenchmen from a nearby circus in Bordeaux. The men took their new friend for a tram ride around the area. As it later turned out, the group of young men were celebrating a stag do
4. Be careful with kidnappings at stag dos! Men in balaclavas forcibly dragged a driver into a car and drove off in an unknown direction. A witness alerted the police. A few hours later it turned out to be the start of… a stag do
5. A flight with a fire on board. Playing pranks on a passenger plane is not a good idea, especially when open fire is involved. The pilot of a flight from Manchester to Majorca had to make an emergency landing at Gatwick airport. All because of a 24-year-old man who set his mate’s hair on fire as a joke. You can guess yourselves that the stag do ended in custody.
Well… the organisers probably meant well, but it turned out as usual. So if you are looking for an equally crazy option, but without these negative consequences – be sure to consider organising a stag do on board our party tram. It’s a chance to combine a crazy party with an extraordinarily original venue!
