Szczecin has everything you need for a great girls’ night out: stunning photo backdrops by the Oder, restaurants with water views, atmospheric bars and activities that are easy to combine into one plan. If you’re organising a Szczecin hen party, this list will help you choose what suits the bride-to-be best.
We’ve gathered 10 tried-and-tested ideas – from a relaxed afternoon to a party that lasts until morning – plus a sample plan for the evening and practical tips for the bridesmaids.
How to plan a Szczecin hen party
First, agree on the number of guests, the budget per person and the style of the event: relaxing, partying or a mix of both. A mixed group – sisters, mums, colleagues from work – is best invited to a calmer afternoon, leaving the party for the evening. Book activities for larger groups in advance, especially at weekends. It’s also a good idea to put one person in charge of bookings and contact with venues, so that nothing slips through the cracks at the last minute.
10 hen party ideas in Szczecin
1. A private party on a party tram
A tram turned into a club on wheels is the kind of activity people will still be talking about at the wedding. For two hours it’s all yours: you can dance, sing your favourite hits and take photos you couldn’t take anywhere else. We’ll prepare decorations in the colours of the night, champagne or prosecco to start with, and surprises during the ride. You’ll find the details on our hen party tram in Szczecin page.
2. A photo shoot on Wały Chrobrego
The monumental steps and terraces above the Oder are among the most photogenic spots in the city. Book a photographer for the hour before sunset, then head down to the boulevards after dark – opposite, on Łasztownia, the illuminated dźwigozaury (port cranes nicknamed “crane-dinosaurs”) will be glowing. Łasztownia is also home to a big “SZCZECIN” sign, with Wały Chrobrego (Chrobry Embankment) and the castle visible behind it.
3. A stroll through Różanka and Jasne Błonia
For a calmer part of the day, head for the green heart of the city. Różanka, a rose garden with thousands of roses, and the plane-tree avenues of Jasne Błonia make a perfect backdrop for photos in matching dresses. In neighbouring Park Kasprowicza you can relax by Lake Rusałka, and in summer you can check what’s on at the Teatr Letni (Summer Theatre).
4. A harbour cruise
Sightseeing boats leave from below Wały Chrobrego for cruises around the port. An hour on the water with views of the quays and Łasztownia is a lovely start to the evening, especially on a warm day. With a larger group, ask the operator about chartering a boat for a private event. Bring something warm – it can get chillier on the water in the evening than on land.
5. A cocktail workshop
Mixing drinks together with a bartender is an activity everyone takes part in, and you get to taste the results straight away. Look for a bar or bartending school that runs classes for groups. We can also lay on a bartending show on board the tram.
6. An afternoon of saunas and pools
If some of the group are travelling from far away, start with some relaxation. Fabryka Wody (the Water Factory) has pools and one of the largest sauna zones in Poland, and if you prefer treatments, choose a hotel spa in the centre. A few hours of calm before the party is a good idea, especially when it promises to be a long night.
7. A dance workshop
An hour’s class with an instructor – heels, burlesque or a routine to the bride’s favourite song – means plenty of laughs and a great warm-up before a night on the town. Ask a dance school about a private class for your group. A video of your routine could become a hit at the wedding.
8. An escape room or karaoke
An escape room will test how the bridesmaids’ team copes against the clock, while a private karaoke room gives everyone a turn on stage. Neither depends on the weather, so they make a good back-up plan for a rainy day.
9. Dinner with a view of the Oder
For dinner, choose a restaurant on Bulwary Nadodrzańskie (the Oder Boulevards) or on Wały Chrobrego, where Columbus, a restaurant and pub on the southern terrace, overlooks the Oder valley. With a larger group, book a table and agree the menu in advance – it’ll save you waiting.
10. Deptak Bogusława and the after party
After dinner, move on to Deptak Bogusława (Bogusław Promenade), where restaurants, bars and pubs with outdoor terraces are buzzing, especially on weekend evenings. From here it’s a short walk to the clubs in the centre. For a crew in matching T-shirts with a sash for the bride, it’s the perfect route for the grand finale.

Practical tips
- A theme – a sash and veil for the bride-to-be, balloons or matching fancy dress look great on the tram and in photos.

- Accommodation – choose somewhere central, near Deptak Bogusława or the Old Town, so you can walk everywhere.
- A surprise – tell us about your plans, and we’ll help fine-tune the scenario so the surprise is complete.
